1. Acceptance of TermsBy accessing the Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu website or enrolling in any program offered by Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu (“Legacy X,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.2. Membership and EnrollmentMembership at Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu is subject to the following conditions:
• Membership is personal and non-transferable.
• Members must complete a waiver and release of liability prior to participating in any class.
• Legacy X reserves the right to terminate membership for conduct that violates academy rules or creates an unsafe environment.
• Membership fees are due as outlined in your enrollment agreement. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
3. Health and ParticipationParticipation in martial arts training involves inherent physical risk. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of participating in training activities and agree to inform our instructors of any medical conditions or injuries before participating. Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu is not liable for injuries sustained during training that result from failure to disclose known medical conditions.4. Code of ConductAll members are expected to:
• Treat all students, instructors, and staff with respect.
• Follow the Academy Etiquette guidelines at all times.
• Refrain from using techniques in a reckless or harmful manner.
• Report any concerns or unsafe behaviour to an instructor immediately.
5. Cancellations and RefundsMembership cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with a minimum of 30 days notice period as specified in your enrollment agreement. Prepaid membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Legacy X reserves the right to modify class schedules, instructors, and program offerings.6. Intellectual PropertyAll content on this website, including text, images, logos, and video, is the property of Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.7. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Legacy X Jiu-Jitsu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services or website. Our total liability in any matter arising out of or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the three months preceding the claim.8. Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.9. Changes to These TermsLegacy X Jiu-Jitsu reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.10.
