The right class
for every age.

Kids train with others their own age, so every class is pitched at the right level. At 16, students move up to our Adult program.

Ages 4–6

Little Warriors

Move. Learn. Grow.

A first step onto the mat. Our youngest students build balance, coordination, and listening skills through games and simple movements, all while having fun.

Ages 7–12

Legacy Juniors

Build Skills. Build Confidence. Build Character.

Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals taught through structured drills, games, and age-appropriate technique, with a focus on discipline, respect, and confidence.

Ages 13–15

Legacy Next Gen

Develop Your Game.

For teens ready to go deeper — sharper technique, more positional work, and the foundation to step into the adult program at 16.

More than
a sport.

Jiu-Jitsu gives kids an active, structured place to grow. The skills they build on the mat go home with them — to school, to the playground, and everywhere in between.

01

Movement

Rolling, falling safely, balance, and coordination — the movement fundamentals every young athlete needs.

02

Discipline

Listening, following instructions, and showing respect for coaches and training partners, every class.

03

Confidence

Learning something hard and getting better at it. Every new skill is proof they can do more than they thought.

04

Fun

Games and exercises keep kids engaged and moving, so they look forward to coming back every week.

What a class
looks like.

Every class mixes three things together, in both Gi and No-Gi, adapted to each age group.

Part 01

Exercises

Warm-ups and movement exercises that build strength, balance, and coordination.

Part 02

Games

Jiu-Jitsu games that teach real skills while keeping the energy high and the mood positive.

Part 03

Technique

Age-appropriate technique, taught step by step and practiced with a partner.

Common
questions.

What age can my child start?

Kids can start at age 4. Little Warriors is for ages 4–6, Legacy Juniors for ages 7–12, and Legacy Next Gen for ages 13–15. We assess each child individually to make sure they are ready for the class environment. If you're unsure, reach out and we're happy to discuss it with you before the first class.

Does my child need any experience?

No. The program is built to introduce children to Jiu-Jitsu from the very beginning, starting with movement fundamentals and building up from there.

What happens when my child turns 16?

Students 16 and older move up to our Adult Jiu-Jitsu program, where they keep building on everything they've learned.

Is Jiu-Jitsu safe for kids?

Yes. Safety is our top priority. Classes are structured with proper warm-ups and controlled, supervised practice, and technique is always age-appropriate.

Comfortable athletic clothing — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. We provide loaner gis for trial classes, and no shoes are worn on the mat.
